Today we did a bit of zumba in the hall for fun. We were pretty good at it!
We would like to thank Caoimhe hugely for coming in over the last month each Friday morning and introducing us to hockey!
We are very grateful to Hockey Ireland and Bray Hockey Club for choosing to come to our school.
We’ve been working on our basketball skills in P.E.
We are loving the time we are getting to spend on the Astroturf, particularly P.E.
At rugby training today, we were learning how to tackle safely.
Our new P.E. days until Christmas are Thursday and Friday.
The boys should wear their school tracksuits on those days, and their full school uniform should be worn on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We started rugby training today with Mike Lea. We are slowly getting the hang of the skills! We will hopefully have rugby each Friday in the coming months.
We had our first training session with our GAA coach Willie Braine today. It was great fun!
We have been competing in a class indoor league during PE this month. Take a look at our Crab Football skills!
To celebrate National Fitness Day today, we ran a class marathon. The 29 boys in our class each aimed to run 1.4km (or 7 laps of the pitch) to get to a total of 42km for a marathon distance.
We outdid ourselves, and ran a combined 59km in just 20 minutes. Click below to enlarge the photos.

Rugby training started today!
Our P.E. days until Hallowe’en will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
The boys should wear their tracksuits on these days only and the school uniform every other day.
We have been doing some Rince Gaelach with the younger classes.
This month, we are doing a lot of gymnastics in P.E.

Six boys from our class were on the school Gaelic Football team today who came 2nd in their Coughlin Cup Division today at Bray Emmets, in exceptionally wet conditions !!
We are off to Bray Bowl next Wednesday for an hour of bowling, as part of Free Bowling Week.
If any parents are able to walk to and from the bowling alley with us, please let me know.
Today, all three 6th classes had a great trip to Shoreline Leisure.
Some of us couldn’t wait until we got there to put on the hats and goggles!
